The solutions that we offer with Géoclip enable you to build a smart and intuitive cartography application easily, so that you can illustrate all geolocalised data in an attractive format. The Géoclip solution comes in two versions - Géoclip Solo and Géoclip Server, along with the support services. |

 Géoclip Solo
The first possible level is based on the use of Géoclip Solo, a tool for building interactive cartography applications. Using Géoclip Solo, you can assemble your own géoclip:
- Convert base maps using Mapinfo or Shape files
- Define the geographic layers to be overlaid
- Import statistical data from an Access or Excel table
- Define the indicators that are to be mapped and how they are displayed
- Publish the resulting application, which is now ready to be inserted into a website
or saved on a CD-ROM. |

Géoclip Server
The second possible level is called Géoclip Server. The mapping interface is very similar to the previous one but has a few additional features, such as the option to access various views showing different geographical levels (for example, municipality and county tabs, etc. at the top right-hand side of the map).
The major difference is that Géoclip Server depends on a database containing all of the data that is used by the application. It is supplied with management tools which enable the administrator to upgrade the application, both in terms of geography and indicators. |

Function comparison
The interfaces of both products are similar. However, the fact that Géoclip Server uses a server database enables extra functions to be proposed:
- management of a larger number of indicators,
- navigation between several cartographic views,
- import/export in spreadsheet format,
- document generation in various formats: .pdf, .jpg, .gif or .png |

Support services
In all cases, we also provide complementary services for the preparation of base maps and data. These services are optional. For Géoclip Server, they also include the application test phase and support for installation on the server, etc.
Géoclip Server can also be upgraded with specific features which, in turn, will require further developments – to be given in a detailed specification. |
